Rushton Park was first established in Western Australia in 1998, before relocating to Victoria in 2008, and is owned and operated by David and Kayley Johnson who have over 20 years experience in the equine industry.
Located within 30 minutes to most of the major Victorian studs and in the heart of the North East Thoroughbred country Rushton Park is set on 310 acres comprising of 230 acres of undulating pasture and 80 acres of irrigated pastures.
Specializing in Broodmares and Yearling Sale Preparation Rushton Park offers a one on one service that can be tailored to your horses needs. Problem broodmares are one of our focus areas and we are able to offer both scientific and natural treatment methods to help achieve positive pregnancies.
The property and it's pastures are progressively being improved using sustainable farming methods. Regular soil testing, organic fertilizers and minimal chemical usage are an important part of the management practices used on the farm.
Rushton Park offers group agistment for all horses and can cater for private agistment if required. We utilize the services of the renowned Goulburn Valley Vet clinic and have a farrier on call. Branding, teeth, drenching and micro chipping can also be arranged when required.
